In early 2006 Leo Perez makes his comeback and starts to play at clubs in Panama, where he quickly began to gain success and became the resident dj at two of the most popular clubs at the time, The Gallery-Blue Room and Hedkandi Lounge Panama.
He started playing at warm ups and after parties for many international djs and producers such as Luca Bacchetti, Donald Glaude, Audiofly, Desyn Massielo, Omid 16 bit (SOS), Nick Warren, Marco Carola, Danny Howells, Nic Fanciulli, Chris Fortier, Paolo Mojo, Steve Lawler, Damian Lazarus, Tiefschwarz, Alex Niggemann, Mobius Strum, Jp. Chronic, Alex Dolby & Giorgio Roma, Gorge, just to name a few.
Many of the Djs and producers that inspire him are Steve Lawler, Danny Tenaglia and Mobius Strum.
Leo Perez has his own style by mixing under, progressive and groovy sounds to make deep house, tech house, minimal style sets, with a touch of soul.
Among the accomplishments Leo has under his name are: winner of the Miller Genuine Draft Dj Contest, representing Panama in the Winter Music Conference 2010, performing at the Tikki Boat & La Folie at Miami, US, The Luminocity Festival in Punta del Este Uruguay in 2011, Vertigo Costa Rica, Miami WMC 2012 Half Seas Over Showcase.
2011 brought a new phase for Leo Perez, this time getting involved in producing his own tracks. In 2012 he launches the EP Poema 15 with other Panamanian djs under the label Half Seas Over which includes two tracks produced by him. The EP has had a successful first release, with his track Colors reaching the #1 position on the Indie Dance/Nu Disco Beatport chart and obtaining a #32 Position in the overall Top 100 Beatport Chart. By the year 2013 it was located in the #1 Position on Deep house Traxsource Chart and #2 Position in the Overall top 100.
